A few key things to know about different systems available for home security;

1. Not all home security systems include cameras. Some include only motion detection (internal and external around the residence) and detection at entry points.
2. Some home security systems include cameras as well as motion detection tools.
3. Different home security and home surveillance systems will record the data collected on site (usually through a DVR, or they record the data and upload to cloud based storage.
4. The reliability of your internet connection is a point of consideration for your home security and surveillance needs. If you have a reliable internet connection and a secure network a cloud based solution will function just fine. If you have a more unreliable internet connection then and on-site recording solution or a solution which supports both (on site and off site recording).
5. If you are dealing with a stalker or any kind of unwanted harassment at your residence, getting pictures is key to making a case or taking any legal action against them.

While there are a zillion security and surveillance options out there. These 3 have packaged everything for folks who have the technical savvy to download and app and check network security but don’t need to climb around in the attic, re-wire a house and connect any hard wired security cameras.

For most people in most home environments these systems will do very well to meet security needs with images satisfactory enough to support any case you have with a stalker.
