In case this is just not creepy enough just know that yes, its completely possible to walk around for months and not know someone is creepin’ on you through your phone.
This is a follow up on an earlier article about how to know your phone has been hacked showing a subset of tools you already have in your Google account to confirm for sure that you have unauthorized access.
Given That technology changes over time, what was possible 4 years ago is much harder to achieve now (at least according to AT & T). Certainly the newer generations of Smartphones do not have the vulnerabilities than the earlier generations.
According to AT & T the only way a phone can be hacked or cloned, if its a newer model is by copying the SIM card and then activity can be tracked as it happens.
Just to be clear… based on our experience and quite a bit of research, if someone wants to hack or clone your phone they will find a way to do it. Just Google the term:
track my spouse, track my girlfriend, track my boyfriend
Any of these and you will find countless tools out there to help you hack and track someone through their phone.
Onward…
Using Google Tools to Confirm Unauthorized Access to your Google Account on an Android device.
Only that unassuming moment where you check your google settings, for some other innocuous reason do you discover that yep… you have a creeper.
Here are a few tools within Google to help show you and verify if you have a stalker and/or there has been unauthorized access to your Google Account.
1. The Blue Dot – when you see more than one blue dot on your screen or you are in one place and when you check your google maps your blue dot is in another place you have someone with unauthorized access to your Google account or device.
When you are in one place while your blue dot is in another place(but there is only one blue dot) hehehe… is a sure indicator that someone has access that shouldn’t.
Sometimes the back end of Google tools (the tools linked to your Gmail account) won’t show a literal difference between your location and the blue dot. Depending on connectivity, needing updates, conflicting software etc. there may be a difference in display time.
However, there are a few circumstances that we saw in our experience that led us to these tools.
- What you will know is if you are walking out of the grocery store (with your Phone) and you look at your Google Maps and the blue dot shows you being out side your house 15 minutes away, at the least you have unauthorized Google account access and possibly a stalker or some other criminal activity going on.
- What you will know is if you are inside your house but your blue dot is moving around outside your property around the house at 1:30 AM… you definitely have a stalker.
- What you will know is if you look at your Google Maps and you see more than one Blue Dot, yours presumably at the correct location and another one (sometimes more than one other than yours) someone else somewhere else then you have unauthorized access of some sort and they are using lousy tracking software which shows their location on your instance of Google Maps.
This is the creepy activity that let’s you know your Google account has some kind of unauthorized access.
2. Browser Settings – Google has a window which will show what browsers have been accessing your account recently. The link can be found in the bottom right of your Gmail screen It looks something like this:

Click on the link (from within your Google/Gmail Account) and you will be able to see in this window all of the browsers and IP addresses that have been accessing your account. There is sometimes even a link that will take you to a search tool to dig deeper into the IP address showing in the access log.

There will be links on this page to show more detail about what applications have been accessing your account.
Your IP address will be displayed at the bottom of the screen to verify yours with anyone else’s that has been accessing your Gmail account.
This part is straightforward. If you are located in Washington State but someone located in Texas has accessed your account then well… time to change your password and close out all other active sessions.
These are the 2 best tools in your Google account that with some screen shots will verify any unauthorized account access. For anyone dealing with a stalker you will know the difference between a misunderstanding, a pest or a full blown stalker.
In any event, documentation will always help in any of these circumstances to back you up.
