Stalker Methods

Stalking Tactics: Magnets as Keyless Entry into Just about Anyone’s Home

To show just how inventive people are. Anything can be a weapon if you so desire. The simplest crafting tools like that pack of magnets for crafting and fridge art at Target or Hobby Lobby can also be used as a lock bump. Now we will see about the powers that be and how long this article stays up but until we reach that bridge and have to cross it. Here is our story.

Magnets as Key Bump Tools

A few years ago(yes, it has been going on that long) we were putting the pieces of the puzzle together and trying to figure out just how they were getting past different types of door locks. We could not change them fast enough. (This also corresponds with not having checked the cell phone for tracking software yet, so as it turned out later they always knew when no one was home). Anyhow, zillions of web searches, locksmith forums and even reaching out to some locksmiths (one in Australia ended up being very helpful and as a bonus… he had no liability for giving me tools to break in to other people’s homes since he was over seas, or at least that was what he said) and one who let me know that magnets, could be used as a lock bump because it forces movement within the inner workings of most locks including keyless entry locks. Just a side note, after many months of finding tons of You Tube videos on how to use magnets to break into houses, many of those just disappeared. I haven’t done any searching for a while but it did make me thing about people in hidden rooms tracking all that ‘Big Data’. Magnets can also disrupt locks with blue tooth mechanisms and damage most any kind of electronic devices. The magnets can disrupt both bluetooth and locks with cameras built in which are monitored with wireless access. If your stalker has network access to your home network, that will also disrupt any device using the network to connect. Some types of magnets are stronger than others. Rare Earth Magnets are especially powerful, so much so that they can cause considerable health issues for the folks using them. A side note; excessive magnet use does is it leaves black dust within the locks when they are replaced or cleaned out. We found this out replacing the last set of door locks. When they were removed, a bunch of black metal dust came out. Not sure of the science of it but that apparently is evidence of magnets being used to break in. Surveillance cameras are the best deterrent, plus some hidden cameras in case the buggers get brave and take out a surveillance camera or two. Just remember…  Even stalkers have blindspots.
